My Anti Aging Skin Care

I had a woman ask me latterly how I was able to look so young and colourful.  I took it as a compliment as I spend a good amount of time researching and implementing the ideal anti-aging skin care regiment.

There are a number of different products on the market that claim to be able to skim years from our skin in only a matter of days.  They promise incredible results with minimal effort.  Sadly, these products and firms are commonly confusing.  Like any other worthwhile endeavor, anti aging skin care takes a bit of difficult work and attention on your side to make succeed.  I spent additional hours each week working towards smoothing away developing wrinkles.  Trust me, if it was possible to make them vanish overnite, I’d have.

Anti age Skin Care Ingredients

There are some known products though that I do use because they have been proven to have anti aging effects.  The most effective and best documented supplement I’ve used is retinoic acid.  We all know that Vitamin A has a profound effect on our skin health.  As a derivative of that vitamin, retinoic acid is able to thicken skin and improve its texture, smoothing out wrinkles in the process.  I’ve found though that many of the products you can purchase directly over the counter at your local drug store don’t contain quite enough of the retinoids needed to handle the consequences of aging.  I have seen some women who respond very well to these low concentration products.  However  for most of us, effective anti-aging skin creams are best found with our dermatologists.

Another product I’ve used for years , originally to supplement my Vitamin C skin care products is that of Alpha Lipoic Acid or ALA for short.  It is a very effective anti-oxidant that works together with other vitamin supplements to chop off free radical damage to your skin.  I’ve been extremely pleased with the results of ALA, making it one of my favourite anti aging skin care products.  There are lots of products being released with ALA as it is a phenomenon.  Read thoroughly to make sure the product you buy is high potential.

There are a number of other products claiming to work as anti-aging skin care solutions.  Though I have not used all of these products, I have punctiliously followed the research being done and the general feeling on their results.  CoEnzyme Q 10, the highly hyped natural cell enzyme that many firms are synthesizing to be used in their anti aging skin care products has been shown to be quite effective in recent years in prompting your body to produce more collagen and elastin and in fighting free radicals.  Vitamin C and Green Tea are other anti-oxidant sources that have proven in recent times to be extremely effective - Vitamin C treatment being one of my fave and most carefully applied weekly products.I always counsel at least one solid anti-oxidant be included in you skin care regiment.  Ideally, a mix of multiple different products will further shield you from the consequences of aging by beating off those unpleasant small free radicals.  Be sure to keep away from products that make big claims and do not have the ingredients to back them up though.
